Yes. I recently re-read DC Comics “World Without a Superman” and “Return of Superman” collections. I was very shocked at how well the writers captured the grief felt by Lois Lane and Ma and Pa Kent. These books, while they may have seemed like cash grabs at the time, are worth another look.
